AirPort Express to support AirPlay 2: confirms by iOS 12 beta 2

The latest beta release of Apple's iOS 12 has a hidden surprise for AirPort Express owners. Following the release of the AirPort Express, which will be released as a HomeKit accessory in a beta beta at the start of IOS 11, and after the rapid elimination of the role by Apple, iOS 12 re-adds Beta2 AirPort Express as a home accessory and AirPlay 2
When I was in the latest beta, the Home app now explicitly states that AirPort Express needs a software update to work with HomeKit and AirPlay, apparently a confirmation from Apple that a future update will bring features that are needed to connect AirPort Express to HomeKit and AirPlay devices.
Although iOS 12 Beta 1 AirPort Express was mentioned in the launch application, the update did not reveal much about how the device would be connected to the software. The special mention of HomeKit and AirPlay in iOS 12 Beta 2 leaves nothing to be desired.
Apple's development officially ended its product line in April AirPort and AirPort Express announced that AirPort Extreme and Apple AirPort Time Capsule retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers will continue to be available through Apple.com while supplies last.
However, it is possible that the HomeKit and AirPlay support will disappear in a future beta software update. Specific mention of what role in the home app today suggests that Apple is still updating an "obsolete" product that has been completely abandoned to support a new product that is quite exciting!
